IBUTTI will participate in Tanzania Youth in Agribusiness Forum (TYIAF) – Southern Region Road show to be held at Lindi Municipality, on Saturday 23rd August, 2013.
TYIAF is a youth-led platform under Agri-hub Tanzania which was launched in Morogoro on 11th May 2013, with a motto of “Kilimo Biashara Ndio Mpango Mzima” thus – “Agribusiness is the whole plan”. TYIAF stakeholders are the part of Agri-hub network and other interested partners in agriculture and development arena.
The Southern Region Road show is aimed at responding to the opportunities for investment in agriculture in the southern region of Tanzania. As an output of the forum the participants will create a roadmap on how best youth can engage themselves in profitable agribusinesses for improved livelihoods, employment and become socially responsible citizens for business and food security in the southern region and the nation at large.
The TYIAF - Southern Region Road show is organised by AMSHA, TGFA, ANSAF, Agri-Pro Focus Tanzania and SNV in collaboration with Africare and LIMAS.

Export training Workshop for food processors
IBUTTI is organising a three-day export training workshop for food processors. The main objective of the workshop is to create awareness to participants about global markets and various opportunities availabe to them. The three-day workshop which will be conducted at a venue to be specified later, targets of producers of food products including maize floor, soft drinks, processors and semi-processors of fruits and vegetables etc.
