Going international
Inadequate international business skills, unawareness of existing export promotion programs, access to finance, and imperfect foreign market information are the main challenges. Hence there is a vital need for responsible stakeholders to provide the necessary information about foreign markets to bridge the gap between firms and the target markets and to provide training to business owners/managers in order to strengthen their management capacity and encourage as many firms as possible to venture in international markets.
Export workshops and programs
IBUTTI export coaching and training programs are aimed to build export management capacities, to encourage more firms to venture into international business.
We also conduct awareness-workshops and training, to create awareness to private firms on opportunities available in the international business arena, including those available in preferential agreements under the U.S’s African Growth Opportunities Act (AGOA) and EU’s Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA). The objective is to convince more enterprises to venture into international business.
