From 4th to 6th February, 2015 Ibutti conducted a three-day training to members of the Boards of diary cooperatives under the East African Dairy Development (EADD II) Project. The training brought together 32 participants from three dairy cooperatives.
EADD II is an ambitious five-year program designed to help 35,000 smallholder farm families in Tanzania to achieve sustainably improved livelihood by 2018. The vision of success of EADD II is to transform the lives of resource-poor farming families with improved market access to a wealth-creating, robust dairy value chain that benefits all industry stakeholders.
The project is implemented through a consortium of of five organistions: Hifer International (lead), TechnoServe, the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI), African Breeders Services-Total Cattle Management (ABS-TCM) and the World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF).

Export training Workshop for food processors
IBUTTI is organising a three-day export training workshop for food processors. The main objective of the workshop is to create awareness to participants about global markets and various opportunities availabe to them. The three-day workshop which will be conducted at a venue to be specified later, targets of producers of food products including maize floor, soft drinks, processors and semi-processors of fruits and vegetables etc.
